A three-act book and an associated multiple by New York/Southwestern artist Amy von Harrington. These showcase four series of collage, composite, and installation work completed over almost a decade.

The book is a deeply disturbing visual narrative of hilarious, grotesque beauty. It poses questions about memory and family and the construction and reconstruction of identity.

The multiple is a tarot card set made of 78 collages, each with its own meaning and systemic function, presented in a burlap sack.

They are both equal parts delightful and distressing and, like the artist, totally original.

Premiered at the New York Art Book Fair, November 2010.
